As desktops are better at handling such effects, we can certainly expect to see it more often. Websites use this effect and add a more captivating user experience and visual interest to their online presence. This effect has been popular in game industry but is catching the designer’s eyes.
Parallax effect can be obtained by using jQuery or CSS3 though, it isn’t supported by all browsers so, consider all the possibilities if you’re going to use this effect and choose the one that fits your objectives.
