Now that you have got your hands on the iPad, its time that you were able to optimize its use. Make no mistake, using this wonderful device is as easy as eating cake, and there are some excellent iPad apps that are available on it.
So, the question is, if you have made a substantial investment in the iPad and now want to get the best returns on investment, how do you optimize its use? Well, here are 3 tips to help you get started.
1. Folder Creation
Yes, there was a time when you couldn’t make folders because the iOS did not support the creation of folders, but this is possible now. So how do you create folders? Very simple, all you need to do is tap on an app and hold the tap till the app/s begins to jiggle. Once it begins to jiggle, all you need to do is drag and drop the app on another icon. You will find that the iPad has created a new folder, with both apps in it. You can rename this folder as you like.
2. Getting access to Running Apps
This is something that all iPad users must know, because you might not realize it, but there might different iPad apps running on your device at a given time, which are seeping off the battery life.
So, in order to access all running apps, all you need to do is double click on the Home Button. . It will give you information about all the apps running on the device and if you want to access a particular app, you just need to tap the particular app on the bar (this you will see on bottom of the screen).
3. Taking Charge of iPad Notifications
You can now also control the iPad notifications and control which are the apps whose pop ups you want to see. So, just go to Settings and then onto Notifications and make your choice. Some users were very irritated by the fact that they were either unable to see important notifications (of the apps that they were interested in knowing more about) or there were unable to use the iPad efficiently because unnecessary notifications were clogging up the display and the system’s functioning.
By no means are these the be all and end all of tips that will help you make the best use of the iPad. But, thery are enough to get you started. So, here’s wishing you all the luck with your iPad!
