Will Galaxy S6 Stop the Requirements of MicroSD cards?
As the time is passing and technology is becoming more enhanced requirements are increasing day by day for storage space in smartphones. Who doesn’t want such an internal storage in their smartphones which stops them to buy external SD cards? Samsung which is one of the top smartphone manufacturers will soon fulfill those people’s need by launching a new smartphone ‘Samsung Galaxy S6′. Since last few months’ rumors are going too high in techno-world. One of the rumors about SGS6 is that it will have two variants one having 32 GB internal storage and other having 64 GB though some speculations also claim that there will be a 128 GB variant as well. Well, this article will put end to those doubts regarding storage space in S6 smartphone.
Have a look at possibilities on inbuilt storage in Galaxy S6.
Samsung’s recently released flagship Galaxy S5 has two variants in storage criteria, one is having 16 GB and other one is having 32 GB but thanks to Samsung for providing expansion up to 128 GB at least with the help of external microSD cards. Well, nowadays 16 GB seems like nothing for majority of the smartphone users, even some tech nerds’ complaint about 32 GB also but it’s because they are geeks and they need such a high storage for their geekness. Before moving further check out the storage details of Galaxy S6 predecessors own by one.
The first Galaxy S member came with 8 and 16 GB both of which could be expanded upto 32GB while S2 had a bit more i.e. 32 GB variant also though the 16 GB variant of Galaxy S2 could be expanded up to 32 GB only. Moving onto the next Galaxy member which is S3 and S4, both the devices came with 16/32/64 GB variants which were capable of expansion up to 64 GB. The recently launched Galaxy S5 has expansion up to 128 GB with variants of only 16 & 32 GB.
If we check out the past flagship’s internal storage details as mentioned in the above paragraph, we may get on Galaxy S6 internal storage capacity details which suggests sixth Galaxy S series member might feature a 32 GB variant and a 64 GB variant too both of which could have expansion up to 128 GB storage. There is full possibility that SGS6 will have expandability up to 128 GB as its predecessor which is recently released and has got the same while no other member has expansion up to 128 GB. Even though some of the rumors imagine having 128 GB on-board storage for S6, though I personally believe that’s not possible as it would be too early for Samsung to incorporate a device with such a high internal storage. Anyways, it will plausibly be true that the next Samsung flagship will break off the needs of external microSDXC cards.
